Meet Dr. Christian H. Woodhead
Growing up in Central New York, Dr. Woodhead always knew he wanted his professional path to allow him to stay in the area for years to come. With interests in science and a passion for helping others, dentistry became the best fit for him to incorporate his skill set in the great state of New York.
After studying business management and biology at Le Moyne College, Dr. Woodhead attended New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he received a doctorate in Dental Surgery and graduated with recognition of Cum Laude. Also, in 2009, he was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D), which less than 7% of dentists obtain. Dr. Woodhead was elected as the President of the Fifth District of the New York State Dental Association 2023-2024 term.
Post education, Dr. Woodhead has lectured and taught dentistry for almost two decades at the local dental residency programs. He has even spent some of his time teaching abroad. He has also attended the New York Implant Institute, which sparked one of his many clinical interests.
Dr. Woodhead always puts his best intentions with his patients and ensures they have autonomy in all their overall treatment goals. A combination of his attentiveness and level of quality care that he provides each of his patients, has led him to be recognized in many ways. One of his top professional achievements is being listed as one of the “top dentists” in CNY by The Good Life Central New York magazine in 2018.
Wishing he had more spare time, he genuinely enjoys activities such as golfing, learning history, watching movies, and DIY construction projects. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his family.
